5E Succeeds in International Collaboration
5E is pleased to announce a collaboration for a new, sustainable, renewable facility which successfully obtained approximately $300M in funding. This international project will upscale the recycling of waste materials to create composite building products which have greater durability than traditional wood products.
5E engineers headed the feasibility study for this project. This involved drawing and mapping the layout for the facility as well as calculating the mass energy balance to determine the amount of product that can be made and the energy requirements. 5E also contributed plans for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production from off-spec incoming material.
“This is such an amazing opportunity to convert waste to multiple useful products!” exclaims Johnny Kraczek, CEO of 5E. “It’s great to find and work with others that have similar vision and goals to ours. We look to create a cleaner, more sustainable, and economically beneficial future for the children of the world! It is so fun to see this happening!”
The 5E team is excited to support the next steps of the front-end engineering for this cutting-edge facility..
